The European Life Settlement Association (ELSA) was founded in 2009 to set standards for the European life settlement industry. ELSA represents European funding sources, service providers and intermediaries in the life settlement market who are looking to promote transparency by providing accurate, authoritative information to investors, regulators and the media.

Mario Coniglio serves as Chief Operating Officer for MLF LexServ, LP. He has been with LexServ and directed operations since the company was formed in 2006. During this time, the number of assets and total death benefit serviced by LexServ has grown significantly and LexServ has become the largest 3rd party servicer in the life settlement industry.
Steven Shapiro is the founder of Q Capital. Previously, President of MARK Partners LLC, a merchant banking boutique he founded in 2001. Shapiro has extensive experience in strategic consulting, investment banking advisory services, and private equity investing.
Dan Young is President at Magna Life Settlements. In addition to his role at Magna Life Settlements, Young is an adjunct professor of Regulatory Law at the University of Texas Law School and Chairman of the Board of the Institutional Longevity Markets Association (ILMA). Previously, Mr. Young was Senior Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Vida Capital.
Mr. Young was President & CEO of New York Life’s Broker-dealer network and New York Life’s Registered Investment Adviser. He began his career as a clerk on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals before practicing at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.
