Casey joined Magna Life Settlements in January of 2019. As Senior Associate, Acquisition, he oversees broker-sourced life settlement cases, playing an integral role in Magna’s mission to grow its secondary market. Casey previously served as the Portfolio Manager for Magnify Capital LLC, a private investment management fund specializing in Single Family Homes. Additionally, he served in the United States Air Force for 6 years as a Contracting Officer, reaching the rank of Captain. Casey graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2012 and earned his MBA from Baylor University.
Nilofar Vahora joined Magna in October 2018 as a pricing analyst. Previously, she served Vida Capital as a Servicing Analyst. Prior to Vida, Nilofar worked as a Cash Analyst at a mortgage servicing company for 2 years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas State University in 2011.
Dillon joined Magna Life Settlements in October of 2018. In his role at Magna he supports policy origination by assisting in the valuation and acquisition of new assets. Dillon graduated from Ole Miss in May of 2017 with a double major in Banking and Managerial Finance, as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship. Before joining Magna, Dillon worked in the servicing department of Vida Capital.
Daniel joined Magna Life Settlements in April of 2018. He supports policy origination by assisting in the valuation and acquisition of new policies for funding sources. Prior to Magna, Daniel worked in the finance department of Wenzel Spine, a privately held biomedical devices company. Daniel graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin where he was a track/football walk-on candidate.
Jim has served as the Director of Origination since April 2018. Jim is an executive with 10 + years of sales which includes all aspects of the insurance industry specializing in income planning and wealth transfer. He demonstrates a command of solutions-based selling, which includes products and services to direct markets and within various distribution channels.
As Magna’s Director of Advocate Origination, Austin is responsible for driving growth in the direct channel space. He excels at educating financial advisors, wealth managers, life insurance agents, estate planners and accountants about how life settlements may be a financial windfall for their clients.
Jayme Natal is an experienced associate with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Magna Life Settlements, Ms. Natal worked for NFP Securities working directly with the trade desk and broker dealers. She brings 5 years of experience in the financial industry with a background of 15+ year of customer service. Skilled in sales, retail, cashiering, Microsoft applications, and management. Strong legal professional with a 40+ hours focused in Business Administration and Management from Austin Community College.
Nate joined Magna Life Settlements in June of 2011. At Magna, he manages the origination of new policies and has helped grow the firm into a leading life settlement provider.
After completing an internship with Vida, the parent company, he joined the firm as an analyst on the Portfolio Management Team, specializing in financial modeling and valuation. Currently, he assists in the management and optimization of the Vida managed portfolios and is integral in the valuation and asset acquisition process.
Nate graduated from St. Edward’s University in 2011 with a BBA in finance and marketing.
Clay has been with Magna Life Settlements since 2009, and has over ten years of comprehensive life settlement experience. He was the Portfolio Manager for Rust Group and Life Assets Trust S.A., from 2007–2010 where he facilitated the acquisition, warehousing, and sales for a $725 million life settlement portfolio. Clay has built up a vast amount of knowledge in the longevity and mortality marketplace evaluating, pricing, and analyzing risk of over $20 billion in face value. Prior to working in life settlements, Clay co-founded and served as managing partner of Pursue Energy Services, a physical and financial energy risk management consultant firm. In 2007, Clay became the Senior Analyst for Osage Energy Fund, L.P., a hedge fund focused on investing in energy-related master limited partnerships (MLP) and Canadian trusts (CT).
Clay graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Business Entrepreneurship and Corporate Communications and earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Acton School of Business.
